🐜 Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) and the Ant
حضرت سلیمانؑ اور چیونٹی کا واقعہ
Allah blessed Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) with wisdom, a magnificent kingdom, and the ability to understand the speech of creatures.
One day, he was travelling with his organized army of humans, jinn and birds. When they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant warned the others:
“O ants! Enter your homes, lest Sulaiman and his armies crush you unknowingly.”
Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) understood her words and smiled. He then prayed to Allah:
“My Lord! Inspire me to be thankful for Your blessings…and to perform righteous deeds that please You.”
Despite possessing immense power, Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) remained grateful and humble before Allah.
🌿 Lessons from the story:
• Be kind to every living creature.
• Remain humble when Allah grants success.
• Always thank Allah for His blessings.
• True power must be accompanied by mercy and responsibility.
اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام کو حکمت، عظیم سلطنت اور مخلوقات کی باتیں سمجھنے کی خاص صلاحیت عطا فرمائی تھی۔
ایک دن وہ انسانوں، جنات اور پرندوں پر مشتمل اپنے منظم لشکر کے ساتھ سفر کر رہے تھے۔ جب وہ چیونٹیوں کی وادی میں پہنچے تو ایک چیونٹی نے دوسری چیونٹیوں کو خبردار کیا:
”اے چیونٹیو! اپنے گھروں میں داخل ہو جاؤ، کہیں سلیمان اور ان کا لشکر بے خبری میں تمہیں کچل نہ دے۔“
حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام اس کی بات سن کر مسکرا دیے اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کی:
”اے میرے رب! مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری نعمتوں کا شکر ادا کروں اور ایسے نیک اعمال کروں جن سے تو راضی ہو جائے۔“
اتنی عظیم سلطنت اور طاقت کے باوجود حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام اللہ کے شکر گزار اور عاجز بندے رہے۔
🌸 واقعے سے حاصل ہونے والے اسباق:
• ہر جاندار کے ساتھ مہربانی کریں۔
• کامیابی ملنے پر عاجزی اختیار کریں۔
• اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں کا شکر ادا کریں۔
• حقیقی طاقت کے ساتھ رحم اور ذمہ داری ضروری ہے۔

Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) and the Ant
English Story
Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) was a great prophet and king. Allah blessed him with wisdom, knowledge and a mighty kingdom. Allah also gave him the remarkable ability to understand the speech of birds and other creatures.
One day, Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) was travelling with his army. His forces included humans, jinn and birds, and they marched in organized ranks.
When they reached the Valley of the Ants, one ant saw the approaching army. She warned the other ants:
“O ants! Enter your homes, so that Sulaiman and his armies do not crush you unknowingly.”
Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) understood what the ant had said. He smiled at her words. Instead of becoming proud of his great power and special abilities, he immediately remembered Allah and prayed:
“My Lord! Inspire me to be thankful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteous deeds that please You. And admit me, by Your mercy, among Your righteous servants.”
Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) made sure that his army did not harm the ants. This beautiful incident teaches us that true greatness lies in kindness, gratitude and humility. Even though Prophet Sulaiman (A.S.) possessed an enormous kingdom, he cared about a tiny ant and recognized that all his abilities were gifts from Allah.
Moral Lessons
We should show kindness to every living creature.
Power must be used responsibly.
We should thank Allah for every blessing.
True leaders protect the weak and vulnerable.
Knowledge and success should make us humble, not proud.

حضرت سلیمانؑ اور چیونٹی کا واقعہ
اردو کہانی
حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام اللہ تعالیٰ کے عظیم نبی اور بادشاہ تھے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں علم، حکمت اور ایک عظیم سلطنت عطا فرمائی تھی۔ اللہ نے انہیں پرندوں اور دوسری مخلوقات کی باتیں سمجھنے کی خاص صلاحیت بھی عطا کی تھی۔
ایک دن حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام اپنے لشکر کے ساتھ سفر کر رہے تھے۔ ان کے لشکر میں انسان، جنات اور پرندے شامل تھے اور سب منظم صفوں میں چل رہے تھے۔
جب وہ چیونٹیوں کی وادی کے قریب پہنچے تو ایک چیونٹی نے لشکر کو آتے دیکھا۔ اس نے دوسری چیونٹیوں کو خبردار کرتے ہوئے کہا:
”اے چیونٹیو! اپنے گھروں میں داخل ہو جاؤ، کہیں سلیمان اور ان کا لشکر بے خبری میں تمہیں کچل نہ دے۔“
حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام نے چیونٹی کی بات سمجھ لی۔ وہ اس کی بات سن کر مسکرا دیے۔ اپنی عظیم طاقت اور خاص صلاحیت پر غرور کرنے کے بجائے انہوں نے فوراً اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں کو یاد کیا اور دعا کی:
”اے میرے رب! مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری ان نعمتوں کا شکر ادا کروں جو تو نے مجھے اور میرے والدین کو عطا فرمائی ہیں، اور ایسے نیک اعمال کروں جن سے تو راضی ہو جائے، اور اپنی رحمت سے مجھے اپنے نیک بندوں میں شامل فرما۔“
حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام نے خیال رکھا کہ ان کا لشکر چیونٹیوں کو نقصان نہ پہنچائے۔ یہ خوبصورت واقعہ ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ اصل عظمت مہربانی، شکرگزاری اور عاجزی میں ہے۔ اتنی بڑی سلطنت کے مالک ہونے کے باوجود حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام نے ایک چھوٹی سی چیونٹی کا خیال رکھا اور اپنی تمام صلاحیتوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ کی عطا سمجھا۔
سبق
ہر جاندار کے ساتھ مہربانی کرنی چاہیے۔
طاقت کو ذمہ داری کے ساتھ استعمال کرنا چاہیے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہر نعمت کا شکر ادا کرنا چاہیے۔
اچھا رہنما کمزور مخلوق کی حفاظت کرتا ہے۔
علم اور کامیابی انسان کو عاجز بنائیں، مغرور نہیں۔
