حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کا سچا اسلامی واقعہ

حضرت آدم علیہ السلام اللہ تعالیٰ کے پیدا کیے ہوئے پہلے انسان تھے۔ ان کی تخلیق سے پہلے اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرشتوں کو بتایا کہ وہ زمین میں ایک خلیفہ بنانے والا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کو مٹی سے پیدا کیا، انہیں زندگی عطا کی اور تمام چیزوں کے نام سکھائے۔ جب فرشتوں سے ان چیزوں کے نام پوچھے گئے تو انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ انہیں صرف اتنا ہی علم ہے جتنا اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں سکھایا ہے۔ حضرت آدم علیہ السلام نے اللہ کے عطا کردہ علم کے ذریعے ان چیزوں کے نام بتا دیے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرشتوں کو حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کے سامنے سجدہ کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ تمام فرشتوں نے حکم کی تعمیل کی، لیکن ابلیس نے انکار کر دیا۔ اس نے تکبر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وہ آدم سے بہتر ہے، کیونکہ وہ آگ سے پیدا ہوا ہے جبکہ آدم مٹی سے پیدا کیے گئے ہیں۔ اپنے غرور اور نافرمانی کی وجہ سے ابلیس کافروں میں شامل ہوگیا۔

حضرت آدم علیہ السلام اور ان کی بیوی کو جنت میں رہنے کی اجازت دی گئی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں جنت کی نعمتوں سے فائدہ اٹھانے کی اجازت دی، لیکن ایک خاص درخت کے قریب جانے سے منع فرمایا۔ شیطان نے ان دونوں کو بہکایا اور جھوٹے وعدے کیے۔ آخرکار انہوں نے اس درخت کا پھل کھا لیا۔

اپنی غلطی کا احساس ہوتے ہی حضرت آدم علیہ السلام اور ان کی بیوی نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے عاجزی سے توبہ کی۔ انہوں نے دعا کی:

“اے ہمارے رب! ہم نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا، اور اگر تو نے ہمیں معاف نہ کیا اور ہم پر رحم نہ فرمایا تو ہم ضرور نقصان اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہوجائیں گے۔”

اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کی سچی توبہ قبول فرمائی اور انہیں معاف کر دیا۔ اس کے بعد حضرت آدم علیہ السلام اور ان کی بیوی کو زمین پر بھیج دیا گیا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے وعدہ فرمایا کہ اس کی طرف سے ہدایت آئے گی، اور جو لوگ اس ہدایت کی پیروی کریں گے انہیں نہ کوئی خوف ہوگا اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے۔

حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کا واقعہ ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ تکبر انسان کو تباہی کی طرف لے جاتا ہے، جبکہ اپنی غلطی تسلیم کرکے سچی توبہ کرنا اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت اور مغفرت کا سبب بنتا ہے۔

The True Islamic Story of Hazrat Adam (A.S.)

Allah commanded the angels to prostrate before Adam (A.S.). All of them obeyed except Iblis. He proudly refused because he believed that he was better than Adam: Iblis had been created from fire, while Adam had been created from clay. Because of his arrogance and disobedience, Iblis became one of the disbelievers.

Adam (A.S.) and his wife were allowed to live in Paradise and enjoy its blessings. However, Allah commanded them not to approach a particular tree. Satan became their enemy and whispered to them. He deceived them by making false promises, and they eventually ate from the forbidden tree.

After disobeying Allah, Adam (A.S.) and his wife immediately realized their mistake. Unlike Iblis, they did not behave arrogantly or blame Allah. Instead, they sincerely repented and prayed:

“Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will certainly be losers.”

Allah accepted their repentance and forgave them. Adam (A.S.) and his wife were then sent to Earth, where human life was to continue. Allah promised that guidance would come from Him. Those who followed His guidance would have nothing to fear, while those who rejected it would face the consequences of their disbelief.

The story of Hazrat Adam (A.S.) teaches us that pride leads to destruction, while sincere repentance brings Allah’s mercy. Human beings may make mistakes, but they should admit them, ask Allah for forgiveness and return to the right path.
