Al-Nabawi Mosque of the Prophet, in Medina, is the second holiest and largest mosque in Islam. It is the final resting place of Muhammad(PBUH). The original mosque was built by Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) himself. Subsequent Islamic rulers greatly expanded and decorated it.
