Al-Aqsa Masjid, commonly refers to the southern congregational mosque located in Jerusalem. The Mosque’s congregation building can accommodate about 5,000 people worshipping inside it, while the whole Al-Aqsa Mosque compound area may accommodate hundreds of thousands. During times of increased security only Muslims of a certain age are permitted to access the mosque. It is the third largest or biggest Islamic mosque.
Al-Nabawi Mosque of the Prophet, in Medina, is the second holiest and largest mosque in Islam. It is the final resting place of Muhammad(PBUH).
